Details Client Name Woodrow Wilson Keeble Health Care Center Job Type Travel Offering Nursing Profession Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Specialty Nurse Practitioner Job ID 16874962 Weekly Pay $4736.0 Shift Details Shift 8hr Day Shift Scheduled Hours 40 Job Order Details Start Date 10/01/2025 End Date 09/30/2026 Duration 52 Week(s) Job Description URGENT REQUEST: Submit Provider Profiles by August 14th Location: Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center Sisseton Indian Health Service 100 Lake Traverse Drive, Sisseton, SD 57262 Positions Available: Two (2) Outpatient Midlevel Providers (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) Schedule and Hours: Shifts range from 8 to 10 hours between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday Weekend shifts are 4 hours each (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM), Saturday and Sunday Expected workweek: 40-50 hours May include evening/closing shifts (11:00 AM - 8:00 PM) Holiday and weekend coverage may be required, with adjusted time off based on staffing Contract Term: Initial base period of 6 months Option for up to nine (9) additional 6-month extensions Provider Requirements Experience & Certification: Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in Family or General Medicine within the past 3 years Board Certified, Board Eligible, or partial completion of accredited residency Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Must successfully complete full credentialing and federal background clearance Health Requirements: Must be in good physical health and capable of performing all job duties Current immunizations required: Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza Negative PPD (tuberculosis test) within the past year Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and general computer skills Fluent in English (both written and spoken) Clinical Responsibilities: Deliver outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages (average 16 patients per day) Engage in the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model and provide patient education Coordinate referrals and follow-up with specialists as needed Order and electronically sign off on lab work and imaging Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EHR Build and maintain respectful, culturally sensitive relationships with the Native American patient population Uphold professionalism, cultural awareness, and patient confidentiality Participate in peer reviews, staff training, and clinical committees as assigned Recruitment Instructions: Please submit qualified and credentialed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants along with all required documentation by August 14th.
