We support builders, plumbers, electricians, landscapers and other trade businesses with their systems, processes, quoting, scheduling, team communication, job management, marketing and business improvement.
This role is connected to Manufacturing Growth Hub, but the position will be focused on supporting the Tradie Boardroom business and its trade-based clients.

This role is connected to Manufacturing Growth Hub, but the position will be focused on supporting the Tradie Boardroom business and its trade-based clients.
About the RoleWe are looking for a capable, organised and tech-savvy Admin / Client Support / Software Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
This is not a standard admin role.
You will start by supporting administration, client communication, marketing, documentation and day-to-day coordination. However, the real opportunity is to grow into a client-facing support role where you help trade business owners use systems, software, templates and processes to run their businesses better.
The right person will have experience using trade, construction or business software such as ServiceM8, Buildxact, Simpro, AroFlo, Xero, CRM systems, quoting tools, scheduling tools or similar platforms.
You do not need to know everything, but you must be confident with software, quick to learn new systems, and comfortable helping others understand how to use them.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdmin and Operations
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Tradie Boardroom team
Manage scheduling, diary coordination, meetings and follow-ups
Prepare documents, templates, checklists, reports and presentations
Maintain accurate client records and internal systems
Assist with research, data entry and general office duties
Keep tasks, actions and client follow-ups organised
Assist with client communication, support requests and follow-ups
Help clients navigate software tools, templates, systems and processes
Support onboarding calls, workshops and client sessions
Assist with setting up, reviewing or documenting client systems
Help track client progress, actions and implementation items
Learn how trade businesses operate and how Tradie Boardroom supports them
Over time, support clients more directly with system setup, accountability and improvement
Assist with social media, email updates and marketing campaigns
Help prepare basic graphics, marketing materials and client resources
Support the creation of templates, guides, checklists and training content
Coordinate newsletters, client updates and promotional materials
Help keep brand messaging and client-facing materials consistent
We are looking for someone who is practical, organised, confident with software and interested in business improvement.
You will ideally have:Experience in administration, customer support, software support or office coordination
Strong understanding of software tools used by trade, construction or service businesses
Experience with platforms such as ServiceM8, Buildxact, Xero, CRMs, job management tools or quoting/scheduling software
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail
Confidence speaking with clients and business owners
A professional, friendly and helpful approach
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
Confidence using Microsoft Office, email, calendars and cloud-based systems
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
ServiceM8
Buildxact
Simpro, AroFlo, Fergus, Tradify or similar job management tools
Xero or accounting integrations
CRM systems
Quoting, estimating or scheduling software
Working with builders, trades, construction or small business clients
Client onboarding or software implementation
Marketing administration or social media support
Creating templates, training resources or support documents
This role has a clear pathway for the right person.
You may start with admin, coordination and support tasks, but the goal is to help you grow into a more valuable client-facing role.
