About The Role

As part of the Americas team, SANY is seeking a driven, forward-thinking, and highly motivated Accounts Parts Sales Lead to developing aftermarket business with SANY America's largest strategic customers, including national accounts, fleet operators, rental companies, government agencies, and enterprise customers.

This role focuses on growing parts revenue, increasing customer retention, improving parts attachment throughout the machine lifecycle, and identifying new aftermarket opportunities outside traditional dealer sales channels.

The position serves as the primary aftermarket business development resource for strategic customers while collaborating closely with dealers, Dealer Parts Sales Leads, Equipment Sales, Product Support, and Service.

With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase market share.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and execute strategic account growth plans.
  • Identify new aftermarket revenue opportunities.
  • Build long-term customer relationships.
  • Expand parts sales within assigned accounts.

Product Development

  • Introduce new aftermarket product lines.
  • Develop business cases for new product offerings.
  • Manage supplier relationships and sourcing activities.
  • Coordinate product launches across internal departments.

Account Management

  • Serve as primary aftermarket contact for strategic customers.
  • Conduct regular business reviews.
  • Develop customer-specific parts programs.
  • Improve customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Growth

  • Partner with Parts Planning & Distribution to optimize inventory levels.
  • Improve product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Analyze demand trends and forecast future requirements.

Sales & Dealer Support

  • Increase parts attachment throughout equipment lifecycle.
  • Promote maintenance programs and genuine parts usage.
  • Expand sales of maintenance and wear products.
  • Identify competitive conversion opportunities.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate with dealers to support strategic accounts.
  • Partner with Sales equipment to improve aftermarket capture.
  • Work with Product Support and Service to resolve customer issues.
  • Support national fleet initiatives

Forecasting & Analytics

  • Maintain sales pipeline and opportunity tracking.
  • Forecast account demand.
  • Analyze purchasing trends.
  • Develop annual account growth strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of aftermarket sales or account management experience
  • Construction equipment industry experience
  • Proven track record of growing customer relationships
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • National account experience
  • Fleet management experience
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong understanding of aftermarket operations

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
