We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our Finance team. This role supports accurate and timely financial reporting across the business, working closely with dealerships, departments and the broader finance function to deliver reliable accounting support, reporting and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial information, accounting records and reporting outputs across the business.

Support month-end and year-end reporting, including journals, reconciliations, trial balance review and profit and loss analysis.

Prepare dealership summary reports, presentations and financial reporting as required.

Liaise with dealerships and departments to provide accounting support and respond to finance-related queries.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, external audit requirements and financial analysis.

Contribute to process improvements, reporting efficiencies and automation opportunities within the finance function.

Other Skills and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a higher relevant qualification; bookkeeping experience or a relevant certificate may also be considered.

Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in an accounts, finance or accounting-based role.

Strong understanding of accounting standards, relevant legislation and financial compliance requirements.

High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality when working with financial information.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines.

Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and clear professional communication skills.

Experience with MYOB or similar accounting software, and exposure to dealership, automotive, transport or multi-site environments, will be highly regarded.
