Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and smooth accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis
  • Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting and close processes
  • Prepare and review financial information and reports for management
  • Complete bank reconciliations and monitor financial activity
  • Assist with government filings, remittances, and other compliance requirements
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Process and review bi-weekly payroll for employees
  • Maintain payroll and employee-related financial records
  • Assist with benefits administration and payroll-related inquiries
  • Reconcile payroll and benefits information and resolve discrepancies
  • Support year-end payroll reporting and related requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting and administrative processes
  • Maintain accurate and confidential financial and employee records
  • Provide general support to the Finance team as required

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Enrolled in CPA Program
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with payroll processing and payroll related administration
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with an ERP
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
