About the role:

Reporting to the Manager Northwest Regional Renal Program with amatrix report to the Coordinator Renal Services,
you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care topatients including complex patient populations whose
outcomes are not predictable. As part of a multidisciplinaryhealth care team, you will practice within the Professional
Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Philosophy ofpatient and family centered care, mission vision,
values and the policies of Thunder Bay Regional Health SciencesCentre.
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario, or the ability to become licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current certification in BCLS
- Recent experience in Renal Nursing, with a preference in Hemodialysis experience, with experience in the care of complex patient populations with a focus on dialysis nursing
- Ability to use the Nursing Process (assessment, planning,implementation, evaluation) in conjunction with her/his basic and ongoing knowledge to arrive at individualized careplanning and delivery
- Identify and recognize abnormal or unexpected patient responsesand take appropriate action
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple nursing interventions
- Strong interprofessional and communication skills
- In addition to the above qualifications, preference will be given to applicants who:
- Have the Nephrology Certification (CNephC)
Salary Range: $41.150 to 58.980
