Job Description
Salary: $105,000 – $115,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.

The Accountant is a key member of the finance team, responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of Palmerston AND Palmerston Legal financial records. This role involves the meticulous recording and analysis of financial transactions, the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, and ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, while working collaboratively to maintain continuity and consistency across shared responsibilities.
The accountant also contributes valuable financial insights to support strategic planning and informed decision-making across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For
You’re more than your qualifications—you’re someone who brings heart, empathy, professionalism and a strong commitment to supporting clients in improving their wellbeing. The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, or related field.
- CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards certification)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar accounting position.
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes
