Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in South Delhi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and assisting with financial reporting and analysis.
The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records. The individual will help identify opportunities to improve financial processes and support management with data for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, ERP systems, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Understanding of tax laws, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in South Delhi, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks responsibly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA Inter or equivalent) are an advantage.
