Accountant

Our client is a Multi-National Canadian Icon and they are looking to hire an Accountant - IFRS 17 on a full-time basis. The role has great mentorship and is in office once per week at most. As the Accountant – IFRS 17, you will be responsible for various duties including, but not limited to,

• Preparing monthly financial statements and quarterly financial statements with associated support/back-up
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated internal and external financial statements
• Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• CPA or in progress, preference for specific IFRS 17 experience
• Proven ability to demonstrate independence and accountability of work in a remote culture
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
