Accountant

Located at our head office in Abbotsford, we are seeking a full time Accountant who will play a pivotal role in our financial operations.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation and advanced data analysis capabilities. You will work closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts, manage month-end and year-end processes, ensure statutory compliance, and support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.

Prepare and post journals, accruals, and adjustments.

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Prepare BAS, GST, FBT, and other statutory compliance requirements.

Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor cash management.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to management.

Assist with external and internal audits by preparing supporting documentation.

Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.

Assist with ERP/accounting system maintenance and process improvements.

Support ad hoc financial projects and business initiatives.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with company policies and deadlines.

Ideal Candidate Profile

At least one year post-qualification experience in accounting, finance, or audit

Analytical mindset with the ability to handle complex data sets and derive insights

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Excellent English language skills are required
