Coadys Personnel Consultants โ Revesby NSW
Our client is a well-established and successful importer and distributor of industrial equipment for various industries such as construction, manufacturing, transport, utilities and entertainment. You will be joining their friendly professional team based in Revesby to oversee financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, payroll, financial strategy and accounting.
In this hands-on role, the successful candidate will work closely with Directors and Senior Management with specific responsibilities include:
- Preparing and analysing financial statements, management reports and business performance insights
- Month-end and year-end reporting
- Financial forecasts, variance analysis and risk assessments
- Ensuring compliance with statutory financial and tax obligations including BAS, GST, FBT and income tax
- Developing annual budgets in collaboration with the Directors and Senior Management
- Monitoring financial performance against budget and providing recommendations for cost optimisation
- Overseeing payroll processing, superannuation and employee benefits administration
- Managing employee expenses, reimbursements and salary packaging
- Maintaining and improving financial systems
- Providing financial insights to support business growth strategies and investment decisions
- Working closely with Directors and relevant Division Managers to align financial goals with business operations

To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
- Relevant Accounting Qualifications (CPA preferred but not essential)
- Experience in financial management, preferably in the industrial sector
- Proficiency in financial systems (Sybiz Vision or similar ERP)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance Managers
Importantly you will be someone with financial rigour who maintains accuracy and discipline in all financial reporting and compliance activities. You will also have solid commercial acumen and a good understanding of the operational drivers of financial performance.
This is a permanent role which is available immediately for a handover and there is an option for temp to perm. The permanent salary guide is $100,000 - $120,000 + Super which is also dependent on experience.
