Role Description The Accountant & Budget Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for ongoing projects. The role involves managing accounting records, monitoring project costs, coordinating with project managers on budget adherence, and reconciling accounts on a regular basis.

The individual will supervise budgeting processes, implement financial controls, and support audits and compliance with internal and external financial requirements. Day-to-day tasks include using accounting software to track transactions, analysing financial data to support management decisions, and preparing periodic reports and dashboards for leadership.



Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret and present key insights.
  • Experience in Financial Reporting and Budget supervision, including preparing periodic reports for management.
  • Proficiency with Accounting Software and practical skills in day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills to review project costs, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in project-based or engineering/consulting environments is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional project and management teams.
