We're looking for an experienced accountant to join our growing team. Someone strong technically who can work through a file and get it out the door, and who sees the bigger picture for the client behind it.
What You’ll Do
Tax and compliance: Prepare tax returns, BAS, GST reconciliations and financial statements for SME entities and groups.
Technical tax: Capital gains, franking accounts, income tax provisions and year-end balance sheet reconciliations.
Accounting and reconciliations: Xero payroll reconciliations, fixed asset registers, journals and supporting calculations.
Client contact: Clear, direct communication with clients and the internal team.
What You’ll Need
3+ years in business services accounting.
Able to prepare financial statements and tax returns for entity groups without supervision.
CA or CPA qualified, or studying towards it.
Strong Xero and Xero Tax skills. MYOB or QuickBooks a bonus.
Solid technical grounding in SME tax compliance and financial reporting.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Attention to detail and the ability to work through a job list independently.

Salary: $85,000 to $105,000 plus super, based on experience. We pay for capability.
