THE JOB

Reporting to the Operations Manager - Geelong, your primary role will be to provide fertiliser handling and dispatching services at the site. You will ensure the safe operation, maintenance and cleaning of the plant and equipment and other duties as required. You will be a key contributor to a work-efficient team with a strong focus on customers, safety, environment, and health.

To be considered for this position you will need to have the following competencies:

• Expertise in the storage, handling and dispatching of stock in a safe manner.
• Proven strong safety compliance background.
• An energetic, results-oriented self-starter with a personal drive to make things happen.
• Highly organised and able to communicate effectively with colleagues, transport operators and customers.
• Able to perform routine preventative maintenance and pre-start checks as well as other general manual and administrative duties found in a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrate sound literacy and numeracy skills to be able to learn and operate (with training) relevant job specific technology.
• Current Open Driver's licence, fork-lift licence and front-end loader ticket or willingness to obtain.

Willing to work flexible hours, including shift work due to seasonal requirements.

Experience in bulk handling industries and/or manufacturing environments will be an advantage. You will be rewarded with a remuneration package commensurate with your skills and experience.
