About Us

Watts Price Accountants is based in Horsham situated 3 hours west of Melbourne but also has offices in Ararat & Stawell. We are a 3 partner firm with 22 team members, our clients come from a wide cross section of industries but predominately the farming sector.

Being a rural accounting firm we offer a friendly working environment, flexible hours, career development and plenty of ongoing training and mentoring.

With three office locations this position would be ideal for anyone living in the Horsham, Ararat or Stawell area.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The role will require work on tax compliance for a range of entity structures including individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and possibly super funds. There will be exposure to a variety of different industries but predominately agricultural.

• Workwith our Partners to provide value to our clients
• Actively look for opportunities to help our clients grow their businesses
• Communication with clients to build stronger client relationships
• Preparation offinancial statements
• Preparation of Tax Returns for all business structures and individual taxpayers

• Knowledge of software packages including Handisoft, Quickbooks, Xero, Class Super, MYOB, Microsoft Office (advantageous but not essential)

Remuneration
