Job Description

Ready to kick-start your career in finance and become the go-to person who keeps the numbers — and the business — running smoothly?

At Bdeo, we're transforming the insurance and fleet industries through AI‑powered visual intelligence. As we continue scaling globally, we're looking for a Junior Accountant who's excited to get hands‑on with the financial backbone of a fast‑growing tech company — managing day‑to‑day accounting, chasing down payments, and making sure everything adds up in real time.

If you're naturally detail‑oriented, enjoy understanding how money flows through a business, and love bringing order to complexity using data, and sharp analytical thinking, this could be your perfect first big step into the world of startup finance.

You will handle core accounting tasks, manage collections and keep aging reports in check, work with tools like Holded, and collaborate closely with Finance and Sales to keep everything aligned and moving forward.

About the Role

As an Accountant, you'll play a key role in keeping our financial operations accurate, efficient, and audit‑ready as we scale. This position combines day‑to‑day accounting, collections management, cross‑functional collaboration, and process improvement to guarantee healthy cash flow, clean books, and reliable reporting.

  • Invoicing and billing management
  • Record and reconcile daily journal entries
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR)
  • Support month‑end close
  • Proactively follow up on overdue invoices and communicate directly with client
  • Manage the full collections cycle: reminders, escalations, and dispute resolution
  • Maintain the aging report and provide regular updates to the Finance team
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to unblock payment
  • Support internal and external audit
  • Maintain organized and up‑to‑date financial documentation

Who are we looking for?

  • Degree or vocational qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on Spanish accounting experience (internships with real responsibility counted)
  • Some experience in a startup, scale‑up or fast‑growing company — this is a must
  • Practical exposure to collections or AR management
  • Familiarity with accounting tools (Holded, Xero, Sage or similar)
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently
  • Spanish and English (native or fluent)

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERPs or automation tools (NetSuite, Odoo, etc.)
  • Background in SaaS or subscription‑based business model

Benefits

  • 23 vacation days plus all Spanish public holidays
  • Paid time off on December 24th and 31st, and a day off on your birthday
  • Flexible working hours: Start between 8 am and 10 am, wrap up between 5 pm and 7 pm; Fridays and 20 summer days with early finish 8 am to 3 pm
  • Work from home up to three days a week, with six full weeks remote per year
  • Health is Wealth: Private medical and dental insurance (Adeslas)
  • Flexible spending: Meal, transport, training, and kindergarten benefits
  • Access to TaxDown to help you file taxes
  • Annual budget of 500 € for books, courses, events, or other learning activities
  • Weekly conversational English classes led by a native teacher
  • Internal knowledge sharing sessions
  • Career momentum through learning and growth opportunities
