The Role
This is a challenging and vital role responsible for comprehensive financial accounting, reporting, and compliance functions across the organization and its group companies. You will take full ownership of complex multi-entity accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end month-end financial close processes for all entities
- Preparing and lodging all statutory submissions including BAS, payroll taxes, and excise duties
- Reconciling key accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions
- Overseeing treasury functions such as payments, FX deals, and overseas transactions
- Administering trade advances, managing loan and line fee provisions
- Preparing management and board reports with detailed financial insights
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless invoicing and provisions entry
- Maintaining accurate records to support audit readiness and compliance standards
The Company Accountant
This role requires a candidate with strong technical accounting skills and a proven ability to independently manage multi-entity finance functions. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
- CA/CPA qualification or working towards it
- 3–5 years of experience in multi-entity accounting environments
- Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and CBA banking platforms
- Demonstrated experience with FX transactions, intercompany, and statutory lodgements
- Excellent attention to detail and support for audit processes
- Adaptability to change and proactive problem-solving skills
- Foreign language skills, while not required, will be well regarded
