Electrical Engineer Location: Leicester (LE5) Salary: £35,000–£50,000 (DOE) Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot and improve electrical systems within our client's busy manufacturing environment. You’ll ensure safe, reliable operation of machinery while supporting continuous improvement and compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair motors, drives, sensors, control panels and automation systems.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Support PLC‑controlled equipment and assist with programming modifications. Install, test, and commission new electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations. Requirements Strong knowledge of electrical principles and industrial systems. Experience with PLCs, drives and control panels.
C&G 2382 18th Edition qualification (Essential). Ability to work independently and under pressure. Work effectively to meet production deadlines.
