Role Description The Head of Sales is a full-time, hybrid role based in Ahmedabad, with flexibility for some work-from-home days.

This position is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for APIs, corticosteroids, and sex hormone products, with a focus on revenue growth and market expansion. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the sales team, setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and support to achieve business objectives. The role involves managing key customer accounts, building long-term relationships with distributors and pharmaceutical clients, and identifying new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.

The Head of Sales will collaborate closely with production, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure accurate product positioning, timely order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction. Regular tasks also include forecasting demand, analyzing sales data, preparing reports for senior leadership, and representing the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as needed. Qualifications Strong Sales and Sales Management skills to drive revenue growth, build pipelines, and manage the full sales cycle in the pharmaceutical sector.

Proficiency in Account Management, including relationship-building, contract negotiation, and retention of key clients. Proven Team Management and leadership abilities to hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret market data, sales reports, and customer trends for strategic decision-making.

Experience in pharmaceutical APIs or related products, with solid understanding of industry regulations and quality standards. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Bachelorโ€™s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.

Comfort with CRM tools and sales reporting systems; ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment based in Ahmedabad. Must have worked in api bulk drug. Must have hands-on experience with local , international buyers.

Should be competent enough to develop core sales team
