This player‑coach role requires reading a P&L, handling dispatch crises at 7:00 AM, owning financial performance, driving business development with realtors and commercial partners, and building a team that delivers exceptional service. Responsibilities Operations – oversee dispatch, scheduling, fleet management, DOT compliance, vendor relationships, and warehouse support; serve as decision‑making backup with an Assistant Operations Manager handling daily execution; drive claims mitigation through quality standards and rapid settlement. Sales & Business Development – build and maintain referral relationships with realtors, property managers, and commercial accounts; conduct field estimates for complex, high‑value moves; oversee sales performance and review conversion quality; manage reputation via Google Reviews. People Management – lead hiring, promotions, and performance across operations and sales; maintain hiring pipeline; oversee safety and OSHA compliance; build culture through huddles, recognition, and crew morale initiatives. Strategic Planning & Reporting – participate in leadership meetings; complete quarterly priorities; conduct monthly P&L reviews and present to ownership; review job costing reports and investigate variances; monitor labor percentage, margins, and cash flow standards. Qualifications 5+ years progressive operations management experience, preferably in moving, logistics, or service industries Demonstrated P&L ownership with track record of hitting financial targets Experience managing teams of 15+ with multiple direct reports Experience building B2B referral relationships or partnership networks Strong financial literacy including job costing, labor management, and margin analysis Customer‑facing experience with consultative or estimate‑based selling Proven ability to balance quality, efficiency, and volume simultaneously EOS/Traction experience strongly preferred Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive company vehicles occasionally Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required Compensation $105,000 – $140,000 total compensation, including base salary and quarterly profit‑sharing bonuses.
