We are seeking an experienced Senior CSOD Consultant to support and optimize a mature Cornerstone OnDemand environment for clients across Australia and New Zealand.
Role Summary You serve as the primary functional lead for the Cornerstone OnDemand platform, providing expert guidance and support across Learning, Performance, Succession, Careers, and Core HR modules. This role is responsible for platform optimization, governance, process standardization, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advisory services. The successful candidate will work closely with HR, Talent, Learning, and business leaders to ensure the platform delivers maximum value while supporting consistent processes and an excellent user experience across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities Lead the functional administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the Cornerstone OnDemand platform. Review existing platform configurations and business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and standardization. Support Performance Management, Succession Planning, Career Development, and Learning processes across the organization.
Act as the primary functional escalation point for complex platform issues and provide advanced troubleshooting support. Define, implement, and maintain governance standards, operating procedures, and platform best practices. Conduct regular platform health checks and audits, recommending improvements to functionality, user experience, and adoption.
Support Cornerstone releases, including impact assessments, testing coordination, deployment planning, and stakeholder communications. Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and advanced administrator training to internal teams and key stakeholders. Partner with business leaders and HR stakeholders to identify enhancement opportunities and translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions.
Support the harmonization of processes, configurations, and user experiences across Australia and New Zealand operations. Develop and maintain functional documentation, configuration records, and governance materials. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of hands-on Cornerstone OnDemand administration, configuration, and functional consulting experience.
Strong functional knowledge of Cornerstone Learning, Performance, Succession, Careers, and Core HR modules. Experience supporting enterprise or multi-region HRIS and talent management environments. Strong understanding of governance frameworks, change management practices, and software release management processes.
Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and provide trusted functional advisory services. Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. Experience conducting requirements gathering workshops and translating business needs into system solutions.
Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment while supporting Australia and New Zealand business hours. Success Measures Increased platform adoption and engagement. Reduction in support escalations and recurring platform issues.
