Job Description

The Territory Sales Manager - Combo will be responsible for in‑account field level execution with excellence, provide channel expertise, manage resources (POS & local budget), support consumer events, and drive brand visibility for the MJUS brand portfolio across on‑ and off‑premise markets. The role requires strong communication, influencing skills, and the ability to deliver brand education to accounts while proactively managing distributor partners, planning/programming, and problem‑solving associated with the MJUS brand portfolio. The position will be in the market 80–95% of the time (approximately 5 days a week on average, with 2 administrative days per month).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Sales and Commercial Execution Develop local commercial solutions to improve brand execution and image in market – including proper distribution of MJUS brands by type and size, merchandising programs, shelf management positions, drink features, and promotions. Ensure excellent retail execution is being achieved in key accounts. Build Jägermeister and Teremana business in the market according to channel and brand standards with best‑in‑class execution.

Contribute new ideas and solutions for distributors and retailers in the territory. Understand pricing, profit, and brand economics at the account level. Maintains Visible, On‑Going Relationships with Accounts Strategically grow sales volume in the key designated market area (DMA).

Identify key accounts, opinion leaders, and influencers within the channel and occasion strategies. Conduct staff trainings and tastings in accounts. Capitalize on local trends within the designated market to inspire future programming.

Execute Jägermeister brand standards centered around a perfect ice‑cold shot in accounts. Execute defined drink strategies while flexing to account needs to build menus and features. Analysis and Administration Utilize tools (iDig, Karma, etc.) to analyze ROI and understand the business, such as effectiveness of major events, consumer development activities, key account resource allotments, POS effectiveness, etc.

Track and monitor point‑of‑sale. Distributor Engagement Set an example and motivate the local distributor network to execute commercial brand and channel priorities. Own relationships with local distributors at the account level.

Act as the voice of the brand to promote and educate consumers, accounts, and distributors on the history and production of the MJUS brand portfolio. Requirements 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the spirits and/or beverage industry, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience; college degree preferred. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and oral).

Proven success in formulating account strategies and executing them to drive results. Willingness to learn selling the Jägermeister way. Strong relationship‑building skills and collaborative spirit.

Detail‑oriented and organized; excellent time‑management skills and ability to multi‑task and support numerous projects. Well‑developed influence and negotiation skills; persistent and persuasive. Frequent travel within the territory is required; must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel between accounts within the assigned territory.

Excellent MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Provide hands‑on support of in‑market execution, including POS assembly and setup. Ability to frequently lift, move, and position product & POS materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
