Role Description The Branch Manager – Pune is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, responsible for overseeing branch operations, sales performance, and client service.

The person in this role will manage a local team, set and monitor sales targets, and ensure smooth coordination between internal departments, suppliers, and clients. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with architects, designers, and corporate clients; driving business development; managing key accounts; and overseeing project pipelines. The Branch Manager will also handle budgeting, reporting, and compliance with company policies, while ensuring consistent customer experience and timely resolution of issues.

This role includes mentoring team members, conducting regular performance reviews, and representing the company at client meetings, presentations, and industry events. Qualifications Proven experience in branch management, sales leadership, or business unit management, preferably in interiors, furniture, building materials, or related industries. Strong skills in business development, key account management, and client relationship management, with the ability to close deals and manage long sales cycles.

Ability to oversee daily operations, including team supervision, workflow planning, inventory or project tracking, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Financial and analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, interpreting sales reports, and making data-driven decisions, P&L. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with comfort engaging senior decision-makers and design professionals.

People management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, and building an inclusive, collaborative team culture. Familiarity with interior products, furniture systems, or architectural materials, and an interest in design and space planning. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Proficiency with productivity and CRM tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and basic CRM software) and readiness to learn company-specific systems. Ability to work on-site in Pune, travel as needed for client visits and site meetings, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
