Job Description
Job Role : To manage end-to-end receivables, accurate revenue recognition, and billing operations for EV mobility services, ensuring compliance with Ind AS, GST regulations, and internal controls while supporting scale-up operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Revenue Booking & Recognition Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with Ind AS 115 for EV services (battery swapping, charging, subscriptions, fleet contracts, etc.
Handle monthly revenue closure, cut-off controls, and reconciliations between operations, billing, and accounting systems Coordinate with operations, sales for revenue-related clarifications 2. Billing & Invoicing Oversee timely and accurate invoicing to OEMs, fleet operators, B2C customers, and others. Ensure GST-compliant invoices, correct tax rates, place of supply, and e-invoicing where applicable Handle credit notes, debit notes, and billing adjustment 3.
Receivables & Collections Monitor accounts receivable ageing, follow-ups, and collection efficiency Support provisioning for expected credit loss (ECL) under Ind AS 4. Reconciliations & Controls Reconcile revenue, billing, and collections across payment gateways, billing systems, and banks Reconcile data between ERP, billing systems, and operational platforms Ensure strong internal controls over revenue and receivables Support statutory audits, internal audits, and investor reporting 5. Systems & Process Improvement Work on ERP / billing system enhancements, automation, and SOP documentation Assist in scaling processes for new geographies, customers, and products Prepare MIS, dashboards, and revenue analytics for management Qualifications & Experience: Qualified- CA / CMA with 4โ5 years post-qualification experience or Semi-Qualified- CA Inter with 8โ10 years of experience in revenue, billing & receivables Skills: Strong knowledge of revenue accounting, GST, and AR controls Hands-on ERP experience (Dynamics/ SAP / Oracle) Good Excel & reconciliation skills
