West Marine Support Center 1 E Broward Blvd Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, USA West Marine Pro is seeking a Pro Territory Manager to service Pro Customers in the Miami Market (North Miami to Homestead). The Pro Territory Manager is responsible for developing profitable B2B relationships in their market. They focus on developing new business and maintaining existing key account relationships.
This position is highly autonomous and requires a self‑motivated individual driven to achieve superior results. They participate in building market level strategy to grow West Marine’s market share. The TM reports to the Market Manager, or in the absence, to the Eastern Sales Director.

Primary Responsibilities Prospect, generate leads, and seek new business opportunities to grow overall portfolio and market share of the Pro business within the region Meet or exceed market annual sales goals and planned growth of assigned accounts Meet or exceed Gross Margin plan; manage special charges and price overrides within the context of the business; enrich Gross Margin through strategic account development Grow account average dollar volume by researching and anticipating customer/business needs, generating a customer needs analysis, and effectively up‑selling breadth or depth of products Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs; promote product/company focuses Visit Pro customers at their place of business regularly throughout the week Network with industry professionals; attend trade shows, store events or industry‑related events to grow customer base and be the go‑to contact for current and prospective Pro customers Log all sales‑driving activity in CRM, analyze reports and dashboards, and oversee maintenance of account and data integrity Collaborate with Sales Team, Market Manager, and Sales Director on a routine basis to discuss sales performance and growth opportunities Schedule appropriate planning time to maximize productivity and output and coordinate priorities with support partners Partner with support teams (stores, distribution centers, etc.) to meet sales and operational objectives Meet with local stores on an ongoing basis and schedule 1‑on‑1 meetings Forecast needs of market and submit information to merchandise planning Attend Pro Meetings and other regional and national calls when requested Compensation Structure The role is compensated under an On‑Target Earnings (OTE) model combining a fixed base salary with commission‑based incentives. The OTE represents the total expected annual earnings if performance quotas are met.
Commissions are paid monthly in addition to a bi‑weekly base salary. Starting salary range: $50,000 base and $50,000 OTE, depending on experience. Education, Experience & Skills Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED required; college degree in business or related field and/or U.S.
Military Service preferred. Minimum Experience: Must live in Miami‑Dade County; 3+ years of outside sales experience or experience managing sales territories; proven record of success in commission‑based sales; knowledge of a CRM tool preferred; proficient knowledge of marine products and the marine industry preferred. Key Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills; strong presentation, analytical, and negotiation skills; sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment; computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word).
