Business Analyst

Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 At the Home Depot Canada, we want you to feel valued and supported. The pay range represents base salary only. Position Overview The Business Analyst is responsible for information gathering and documentation for website, mobile app, and retail channel enhancements and maintenance. As a key contact for website‑related development and integration work, you will work closely with end users, business units, and other stakeholders to identify and maximize web‑based technology opportunities. You will also look to improve business processes and support critical business strategies with the Ecommerce Product Management Team, working through various stages of the development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities Define and document customer business functions and processes; identify opportunities for improvement; assist in proposal development for new systems or operational changes. Consult with internal and external teams to define business needs, objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and system access levels. Act as a liaison among end users, technical analysts, IT analysts, consultants, and vendors to ensure optimal project performance during analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance.

Analyze feasibility and develop requirements for new systems and existing system enhancements; document changes for functional and business specifications; write detailed procedures for end users and training. Collect and prepare information and reports using analytics, industry research, and trends; consolidate into clear correspondence for Product Management decision‑making. Participate in test case definition, user acceptance testing, and new functionality testing; develop training curriculum and conduct formal training sessions.

Project and change management experience. Strong documentation and communication skills (business requirements documents, use case development, business process diagramming, facilitating information‑gathering sessions). Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, operate under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Excellent skills with MS Office, MS Project, and Visio or other diagramming software. Direct Manager / Direct Reports Reports to Digital Product Manager, eCommerce Travel Requirements Limited; travel to Toronto store support location and other stores as needed. Minimum Education University or college degree in a related area of study, or equivalent experience. Minimum Years of Work Experience 5+ years as a Business Analyst in product, project, or change management. Minimum Leadership Experience No leadership experience necessary.

Bilingual in French and English is an asset. Certifications CSPO is an asset. Other Requirements / Assets Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (Firebase, Google Analytics, Tableau, Adobe).
