Accounting Manager

Contact Call: 248-728-6420 / Email: [email protected] Job Summary Stefanini is looking for an Accounting Manager (Hybrid) to work in Chicago, IL with a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite at 905 W Fulton Market and 2 days remote. Work Hours Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM CST Responsibilities Develop and implement accounting practices and procedures. Provide and interpret data from accounting records and coordinate accounting services with operating needs.

Oversee management of fixed assets, leases, intercompany cross charges, new accounting rules, restructuring programs, and joint ventures. Manage elements of the monthly accounting close process, ensure accurate U.S. GAAP/local GAAP reporting, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and KPIs.

Provide insights into balance‑sheet movements and cash flow; support implementation of process‑change projects. Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment; enforce AER policies. Coordinate accounting services and integrate them with operating needs.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree is required; CPA a plus. Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in equity accounting. Experience in reporting for SAC.

Experience in a multinational company. Experience with general ledger systems (SAP) and responsibility for monthly closes. Experience with internal control design and SOX reporting.

Strong Hyperion and SAP experience. Highly system‑savvy with exceptional Excel skills. Desired Skills Technical expertise in U.S.

GAAP/IFRS/local GAAP, close processes, and financial reporting systems. Business acumen beyond accounting and external reporting scope. Leadership skills with proven business partnering and communication skills.
