Licensed Brands Manager

This is a unique role of a Brand Manager from a licensing and retail background to take on a major global commercial role within a major player within the brand licensing space. Our client is looking for a high calibre and commercially switched on Brand Manager to oversee and manage key relationships with brand owners. The ideal candidate : Will have strong skills in driving key commercials with major global studios and brand owners Will have strong understanding of the licensing industry ideally with some product experience ( within apparels) Will have experience of working with design and sales teams on developing product, driving the creative piece to lead the dialogue with key brand owners Will either come from fashion retail licensing or from licensors or licensee background with strong financial , commercial and product abilities The role: You will own and drive all key commercials relating to the brands that you will handle You will ensure that all global sales teams (around 30 of them across EMEA) are doing their best for your brands You will provide world class, excellent full circle service right from owning the pitch, to developing the product in liaison with design and sales teams, right up to delivery You will lead and attend major business reviews with your brand owners and sales teams to develop strategy that will maximise commercial value for all parties Will involve some travel around Europe This role will suit an internationally focussed, hands on and numbers driven individual with a strong sense of business development.
