We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our quality assurance team and help ensure our products meet exacting specifications.

Position Overview: The CMM Programmer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs to inspect complex aerospace components. This role requires a strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and aerospace quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize CMM programs using industry-standard software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision components Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements Analyze inspection data and generate detailed reports Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues Maintain calibration and ensure proper functioning of inspection equipment Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection processes Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of CMM programming experience, preferably in the aerospace industry Proficiency with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar) Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading Experience with CAD models and metrology tools Knowledge of aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100) is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills: Experience with multi-axis or complex geometries Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision environment What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth and advancement How to Apply: Please submit your resume to AVStar Fuel Systems Inc. via indeed Join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aerospace components worldwide.
