Job Description
On behalf of our FI client, we seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst with: • Capital Markets experience • Excels in documentation, process and data mapping • Is capable of working on multiple small scale assignments and can bring value quickly. • Data, Compliance, and Regulatory experience The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable with rules, who likes digging, with a high level of attention to details and rigor in their work method Responsibilities: - Be able to work with all systems delivery framework including agile, hybrid and waterfall - Work with product owners to capture business requirements and document them using standard documentation templates - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements - Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future state - Conduct detailed business process analysis and develop comprehensive process flow diagrams, user stories, functional specification documents, and use cases to facilitate system design and development - Obtain key inputs from subject matter experts (SMEs), architects, dependent teams and identify solution interdependencies. - Accordingly, conduct system mapping and data mapping - Develop detailed user stories, story mapping, stakeholder analysis and acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owner - Clearly articulate and document business requirements to enable development and QA teams to deliver the required business & tech functions - Act as a liaison between business user and technical teams, translating business needs into technical specifications - Create and maintain documentation regarding all aspects of the product, including product operations, compliance, product launch processes, and system functionality - Participate in design review and walk-through - Support testing teams/activities: test plan/case consultation and manage defect triage with appropriate application teams - Provide support during system implementation, including user training and post-implementation activities - -Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies CORE skills and experience required: Business Analysis Excellence • Help model current and target-state processes, controls, and reporting flows, including impact assessments to support ongoing trading and overall risk monitoring. • Able to write clear and traceable business requirements and keeping them updated throughout the lifecycle. • Experience defining user test cases and supporting operational transfer. • Ability to scope initlal business analysis activities and support planning and deliverables Analytical & Problem Solving • Strong analytical capability with the ability to perform deep dives into complex issues. • Ability to think creatively, challenge assumptions, and deliver efficient, robust, and sustainable solutions. Collaboration • Ability to build trusted relationships and work with cross-functional teams (includingdata, risk, legal, and finance) around common objectives. • Adhere to best practices. Communication & Interpersonal Skills • Active listening, adaptability, and willingness to learn. • Flexible and eager to take on tasks that may go beyond the traditional BA role. • Able to support Product Owners, business stakeholders, and IT teams in delivery.
