Operational Risk Manager

A leading global investment firm is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to join its London-based Enterprise Risk team. This is a hands-on role focused on assessing controls, analyzing risk data, identifying emerging risks, and helping build a more connected, data-driven view of the firm's risk environment. The successful candidate will leverage technology and AI to uncover insights, challenge existing processes, and drive meaningful risk improvements across the business.

Key Requirements Experience in Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Controls Testing, or Risk Assurance Strong understanding of risk assessments, control testing, and incident management Analytical mindset with experience using data to identify trends and control weaknesses Exposure to SQL, Python, BI tools, AI, or data modelling preferred Financial services, fintech, or technology experience strongly preferred The team is looking for someone who will challenge assumptions, understand how the business operates, identify root causes, and help implement practical solutions that create measurable business value.
