Senior Project Manager

Expanded are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to work in our Power Sector. Role & Responsibilities Contribute to the achievement of safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences To support the delivery of the sub project to the client within budget, Quality Assurance standards, on programme and to stringent safety parameters To work with the planning team to develop detailed and accurate short term programmes of work To provide accurate and timely reporting of progress against the plan To ensure adoption of innovative ideas from within the business and from the workforce To support the programming of day to day resource requirement and communicate these to the construction team To interface with the construction manager and sections managers to share best practice and ensure effective resource utilisation To monitor external changes to work plans and report the effect of change To lead section meetings to review safety, quality, progress and design. To ensure effective implementation Laing O Rourke project management systems and procedures Contribute to the contract review process.

To chair safety committee meetings on a monthly basis, take minutes, distribute and carry out all actions. Requirements Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or recognisable qualification) Between 10-15 years' experience Start date Autumn 2026 Accessibility We are committed to inclusive recruitment.
