This role is primarily responsible for the technical direction and quality of derivatives portfolio management and accounting within Singularity product. Technical strategy and ownership : Establish the technical vision and direction for major software components and systems.

Ensure that architectural designs align with long‑term business goals. Complex problem‑solving : Tackle the most challenging technical issues, providing innovative and creative solutions that move the project forward and prevent future problems. Hands‑on development : Continue to be deeply involved in hands‑on coding, especially for critical and complex components of the software.

Mentorship and guidance : Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to mid‑level and junior engineers. Help upskill the team and foster a culture of technical excellence. Cross‑functional collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, quality assurance engineers, and engineering managers to translate business needs into technical specifications and timelines.

What You Will Bring Extensive technical experience : A proven track record of 6–10+ years as a hands‑on software engineer, with deep expertise in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and software design principles. System architecture : Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration. Capable of designing scalable, robust, and maintainable systems.

Leadership and influence : Strong leadership abilities with a focus on technical direction rather than direct people management. Able to inspire and guide a team while effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Problem‑solving mindset : Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills to identify technical challenges and develop effective solutions.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
