WideâRanging Perspectives : Committed to Celebrating the Variety of Backgrounds, Talents and Experiences of Our Employees What You Will Get To Do This lead software engineer position is looking for a highly experienced and expertâlevel individual contributor who balances advanced, handsâon coding with significant technical leadership. This role is primarily responsible for the technical direction and quality of derivatives portfolio management and accounting within Singularity product. Technical strategy and ownership : Establish the technical vision and direction for major software components and systems.
Ensure that architectural designs align with longâterm business goals. Complex problemâsolving : Tackle the most challenging technical issues, providing innovative and creative solutions that move the project forward and prevent future problems. Handsâon development : Continue to be deeply involved in handsâon coding, especially for critical and complex components of the software.
Mentorship and guidance : Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to midâlevel and junior engineers. Help upskill the team and foster a culture of technical excellence. Crossâfunctional collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, quality assurance engineers, and engineering managers to translate business needs into technical specifications and timelines.
What You Will Bring Extensive technical experience : A proven track record of 6â10+ years as a handsâon software engineer, with deep expertise in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and software design principles. System architecture : Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration. Capable of designing scalable, robust, and maintainable systems.
Leadership and influence : Strong leadership abilities with a focus on technical direction rather than direct people management. Able to inspire and guide a team while effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and nonâtechnical stakeholders. Problemâsolving mindset : Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills to identify technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Continuous learning : A passion for staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
