Job Description
Lightspeed Financial Services is looking for a Software Development Manager in North America to grow and lead our technical team within the Financial Services organization. Reporting to the Director of Financial Services Foundations, you will help us lead, mentor and grow a highâperforming software development team and cultivate an inclusive, inspiring working culture. Under your guidance, developers will deliver Financial Services products and services that are missionâcritical to Lightspeedâs longâterm vision and growth.
We are looking for a leader with a solid, demonstrable technical background, who can earn the respect of developers with their knowledge and experience. You will have a proven track record of supporting, mentoring, leading and growing a development team, and of delivering highâscale cloudâbased software systems. You will enjoy problemâsolving and removing blockers to the teamâs progress, and will have experience collaborating with Product teams and customer stakeholders.
You will be an effective and clear communicator who can directionâset and track team delivery in a distributed, fastâmoving and rapidlyâchanging agile environment. For this role, you should be located in Canada and able to work within EST/EDT hours. We offer a choice of fully remote, partially remote or fully officeâbased work environments (in cities with local offices).

At Lightspeed, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skill set, qualifications, experience, and market data.
These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We reasonably expect the total compensation for this position to be in the range of $180000 TO $195000 CAD . Lightspeed also provides a variety of employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance, RRSP plan and match, paid parental leave topâup, and paid time off.
