Senior Sales Manager

In this role, the Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for selling guest rooms, meeting space and Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, soliciting and generating business. Duties include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems, and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate. The Senior Sales Manager will also participate in, and may lead, event meetings, sales and other staff meetings.

The role works as a team member with the sales and catering staff and is in close contact with the assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff. They will solicit the most complex accounts and generate business through direct sales and marketing contacts, and may take on leadership functions and assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with projects. Responsibilities Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and Hyatt services to customer groups.

Manage accounts and conduct site inspections. Prepare and present effective proposals. Maintain organized documentation and reports.

Utilize Hyatt systems and coordinate customer service requirements. Participate in and possibly lead event and staff meetings. Work closely with sales, catering, and support staff.

Solicit complex accounts and generate business through direct sales and marketing contacts. Assist Director of Sales & Marketing with projects and leadership functions. Qualifications 3-5 years of hotel sales experience.

Proficiency in general computer knowledge. Strong selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills. Refined verbal and written communication skills.
