Globalla Inc. is looking for a designer that has an elevated vision for style, colour and conceptual skills. Someone who understands how to design a product from start to finish with a strong sense of trends for multiple market segments. Keeping our products relevant and successful, while bringing innovation and new ideas that align with our customer’s expectations is a vital ability for this role.

Our main product categories are socks, hosiery, cold weather knits, scarves, hair & other accessories.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for researching markets in order to identify new trends, fabrics, techniques and presenting to the team within the design and sales departments 2. Understands the competitive landscape and how to segment products for different markets 3.

Creative & innovative product design ideas and related development responsibilities. 4. Owns creation and communication to factory of all artwork design files and lab dips 5. Use strong CAD design in Adobe Illustrator, various AI tools, to create designs, tech packs & style sheets 6.

Timely review of samples and communicate comments to the factory and team 7. Track samples and provide design comments in a timely manner 8. Responsible for meeting all due dates as outlined in the company calendar 9.

Continually work to improve processes with art, design and development teams and factories to ensure clear communication and effective development 10. Customer facing presentations with sales team as needed 11. Ability to work in Microsoft Excel on product costings and factory price negotiations QUALIFICATIONS: 1.

Min college degree in Fashion Design Certificate or Degree recognized in Quebec 2. Min 5 years of relevant design experience 3. Thorough knowledge of accessories, yarns, fabrication, colour use, graphics and trims 4.

Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, AI platforms, Microsoft Excel and other Office applications 5. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize 6. Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate clearly Compensation: $65,000-$75,000
