Project Manager- HVAC

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee HVAC retrofit, mechanical construction, and equipment replacement projects throughout the Ottawa region. This position offers the opportunity to manage projects from planning through completion while working closely with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful project delivery. What You'll Be Doing Manage HVAC retrofit and mechanical construction projects from kickoff to closeout Review project drawings, specifications, schedules, and scope requirements Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans Order and coordinate delivery of materials and equipment Attend site meetings and provide project leadership throughout execution Track project costs, profitability, and overall project performance Resolve project issues and maintain strong customer relationships Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget Complete project closeout documentation and turnover requirements What We're Looking For 5+ years of project management experience within HVAC, mechanical contracting, building systems, or construction Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical equipment Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience managing subcontractors, project schedules, and budgets Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Valid driver's license Nice to Have PMP designation Experience with natural gas, propane, or oil-fired systems Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC Technology, or related technical education Why Consider This Opportunity?
