Warehouse Manager

WAREHOUSE MANAGER TEMP - PERM UP TO £40,000 (depending on experience) MONDAY - THURSDAY 6.30AM - 4.30PM FRIDAYS 6.30AM - 4PM We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of a fast paced steel stock holding warehouse. Reporting directly to the Company Directors, you will manage warehouse staff, stock, transport, equipment and Health & Safety, ensuring a safe, efficient and well‑organised operation. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to lead by example in a busy, physical warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities include: Supervising and training warehouse and driver staff Goods inwards/outwards, stock and quality control Order picking, packing and bar sawing Transport planning, loading/unloading and occasional driving Health & Safety compliance and housekeeping Maintenance of vehicles and equipment Security, key holding and overtime management The ideal candidate will have: Experience in a steel stock holding or similar warehouse environment Previous supervisory experience (preferred) Strong organisational and communication skills Forklift licence and full driving licence A reliable, hands‑on and safety‑focused approach If you are an organised, motivated warehouse professional looking for a key role within a growing independent business, we would like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
