We provide customers with products and solutions within Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Service & Repair. www.sun-source.com We are currently seeking a self-motivated Account Manager to develop new business for a territory covering the greater Chicago area. The focus will be selling fluid power components in the industrial markets related to marine, military, and other industrial market segments. \n SunSource Offers Industry competitive compensation plan Medical / Dental 401(k) w/matching Paid vacation and Holidays Tuition reimbursement and ongoing training opportunities Car Allowance What you'll be doing Work with your District Sales Manager to create a sales plan to develop a prospect list to capture new business Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations Regularly meet with Sales Supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers Collaborate with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams who will assist you in meeting and exceeding your sales goals Understanding of the market in the territory to generate and prospect for new business Utilization of tools and resources to plan and manage time and territory Cadence and accountability - weekly review with the sales manager Expanding while maintaining existing business Desired Experience, Skills, and Education 2 year Technical, Industrial and or Business degree OR any suitable combination of education, training and experience 2+ years of increasing sales experience, preferably selling hydraulic and/or pneumatic components within the industrial market space Experience with value-add sales Ability to establish and build business relationships Can achieve and exceed sales goals Valid drivers license \n Would you rather see what we have to offer?
