Job Description – Deputy Manager, Counseling Department Location: Chandigarh University, Mohali Campu s Role Overvi ew The Deputy Manager – Counseling will be responsible for leading and managing a team of counselors, ensuring effective student engagement, counseling operations, lead conversion, and achievement of admission targets. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and performance management skills to drive enrollment growth and enhance the prospective student experien ce. Key Responsibili tiesManage and mentor a team of admission counselors to achieve individual and team targ ets.Monitor daily counseling activities, lead follow-ups, and conversion metr ics.Ensure timely engagement with prospective students through calls, emails, and digital platfo rms.Drive admissions conversion by providing accurate program information and guida nce.Analyze team performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and conversion ra tes.Coordinate with admissions, marketing, and academic teams to ensure a seamless admission proc ess.Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance reviews for counsel ors.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on lead management and admissions performa nce.Maintain high standards of student satisfaction and service qual ity.Support departmental initiatives, campaigns, and enrollment dri ves.Desired Candidate Pro fileGraduate/Postgraduate from a recognized univers ity.7–8 years of experience in counseling, admissions, sales, or student recruitm ent.Proven experience in team handling and target-driven environme nts.Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal ski lls.Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Excel, and reporting to ols.Experience in the education sector will be prefer red.
