About the Firm A service wholesale firm that works in the industrious arena with clients needing hydraulic equipment. A firm that has reached a point of need for Technical Sales Manager to help with sales. Also help grow current market share with OEM who are looking to expand.

Essential Tasks A firm is seeking a motivated and technically inclined Technical Sales Representative to work alongside the Sales Manager in supporting and growing OEM customer accounts. This role is intended as a long‑term development position with significant mentorship and training provided over the first 1–2 years. The successful candidate will gradually develop responsibility for smaller customer accounts while learning how to support larger strategic OEM accounts.

This is not a commission‑driven sales environment. The firm emphasizes teamwork, technical support, long‑term customer relationships, and company‑wide success. Ideal Candidate Profile Coachable and eager to learn Strong communication and interpersonal skills Relationship‑oriented and customer‑focused Organized and detail‑oriented Self‑motivated with a positive attitude Mechanically inclined or technically curious Comfortable speaking with engineers, purchasing personnel, and operations staff Interested in building a long‑term career in industrial sales Preferred Experience & Education 3–4 years of experience in industrial sales, inside sales, customer service, manufacturing, or industrial distribution Experience in hydraulics is a requirement.

In oil hydraulic environments, doing customizable work Technical diploma, mechanical engineering technology, business education, or equivalent experience preferred Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits Key Responsibilities Training & Development Learn the Firm’s hydraulic power unit products and applications Shadow the Sales Manager on customer visits and meetings Develop understanding of OEM customer requirements Learn quoting and application review processes Account Support Assist with management of larger OEM accounts Follow up on quotations and customer requests Support customer communication and relationship management Coordinate internally with engineering, production and purchasing teams Small Account Management Independently manage smaller and developing accounts Grow existing customer relationships Prospect and develop new opportunities Maintain CRM records and sales activity Sales Administration Prepare quotations Track opportunities and follow‑ups Assist with forecasting and sales planning Compensation Structure This position includes a competitive base salary and annual performance bonus tied primarily to overall company performance and team success. Base salary range: approximately ($x – $x) CAD depending on experience. Also an up to 10% bonus.
