Location: LAKE FOREST, IL, US, 60045-5202 Work Location Type: Hybrid Compensation The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $104,500.00 – $174,200.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 10 or , based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change. This position is not eligible for any form of sponsorship now or in the future.

As a Senior Software Engineer (Software Engineer III) you will be involved in the full systems life cycle and responsible for designing, coding, configuring, testing, implementing and supporting application software and systems that are delivered on time and within budget. In addition to mentoring junior engineers, you will work closely with technical teams, stakeholders and product managers to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and physical design of technical solutions. You Will Build applications and develop product design solutions in partnership with engineers, architects, and analysts leading to scalable and maintainable software solutions Design and develop fullstack applications and RESTful APIs that enable cloud cost visibility, FinOps workflows, and multi-cloud governance capabilities across AWS, GCP, and Azure Collaborate with engineering domain leaders and cross-functional business partners to translate cloud financial and governance requirements into technical solutions Coach and mentor junior engineers Consistently practice sensible defaults You Have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required 3+ years experience with modern software engineering; designing, building, and deploying scalable software applications required Experience with FinOps practices, cloud cost management, or cloud financial governance across one or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Proficiency in fullstack or API development, including RESTful API design, web application frameworks, and data-driven backend services Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture, with familiarity in governance, cost optimization, or infrastructure best practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business stakeholders Understanding of distributed system design Experience analyzing and interpreting complex problems and processes Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices Experience with AI/ML concepts or integrating AI-powered tooling is a plus We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or expression, protected veteran status or any other protected characteristic under federal, state, or local law.
