Solar Project Manager Location: Cardiff, Wales Salary: Up to £60,000 Are you ready to take the next step in your electrical or renewables career? We’re looking for a talented and driven Renewables Project Manager to lead exciting electrical and solar PV projects across Wales. This role is perfect for someone eager to take on a management position, whether you’re new to project management or looking to progress further in your career.

What you’ll be doing: Manage the installation of commercial and large-scale solar PV systems, battery storage, and EV charging infrastructure. Oversee teams of electricians and installers to deliver projects safely, on time, and to specification. Handle project planning, procurement, budgets, and reporting.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project delivery. Ensure all electrical work meets certification and compliance standards. Manage site operations, health and safety, and quality assurance.

What we’re looking for: Qualified Electrician with strong electrical knowledge and experience. Relevant electrical and renewables qualifications (Level 3 Electrical Installation, BPEC L3 Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging, or equivalent). SMSTS/SSSTS preferred (training can be provided).

Experience managing electrical projects or a willingness to step up with the right skills. Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and leadership abilities. Commercial awareness and strong communication skills.
