IoT Developer & Trainer – Job Description Position IoT Developer & Trainer Experience: 2–4 Years Location: Flexible / Hybrid / Onsite Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong IoT Developer & Trainer who can develop innovative IoT solutions and also train students, graduates, interns, and professionals in IoT technologies and real-world implementations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in IoT hardware, embedded systems, cloud integration, automation, and smart device connectivity along with strong mentoring and training capabilities. This role combines: IoT Solution Development Technical Training & Mentorship Key Responsibilities IoT Development Design, develop, and implement IoT-based solutions for industrial and business use cases Work on embedded systems, sensor integration, automation, and connected devices Develop firmware and applications for IoT devices and gateways Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms and dashboards Work on real-time monitoring, analytics, and device communication protocols Build proof-of-concepts and prototypes for smart automation projects Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to IoT systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IoT innovation initiatives Training & Mentorship Deliver training programs on IoT, Embedded Systems, and Automation Technologies Conduct hands-on workshops, lab sessions, and project mentoring Create training content, assignments, practical exercises, and assessments Guide students and interns in IoT-based mini and major projects Explain IoT concepts using practical and industry-oriented approaches Support internship and placement-focused technical preparation Required Skills Technical Skills Strong understanding of: Internet of Things (IoT) Embedded Systems Microcontrollers & Sensors Automation & Smart Devices Edge Computing Concepts Hands-on experience with: Arduino Raspberry Pi ESP32 / NodeMCU Embedded C / C++ Python Knowledge of: MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP protocols Sensor integration and device communication IoT cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, ThingsBoard, Blynk, etc.) API integration and dashboards Familiarity with: Linux environments Basic networking Database integration IoT security concepts Training & Communication Skills Strong presentation and teaching abilities Ability to train students and freshers effectively Experience conducting workshops and technical sessions Ability to mentor real-time IoT projects and internships Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Electronics & Communication Engineering Electrical Engineering Embedded Systems Computer Science Information Technology Related fields Certifications in IoT, Embedded Systems, or Cloud Platforms are an added advantage Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage: Smart Home Automation Industrial IoT (IIoT) AI-integrated IoT solutions Robotics and Automation Smart Agriculture / Smart City projects CCTV & Surveillance integrations IoT dashboards and analytics Internship or technical training delivery What We Offer Opportunity to work on innovative IoT and automation projects Exposure to industrial IoT implementations Opportunity to train and mentor future technology professionals Career growth in IoT consulting, product development, and technical training Collaborative and technology-driven work environment Ideal Candidate Profile Passionate about IoT innovation and practical implementation Strong problem-solving and hardware troubleshooting skills Industry-oriented trainer with hands-on expertise Self-motivated learner with interest in emerging technologies
