Overview Assistant Store Manager. You will join our Timberland team based at our store in Cardiff. The role supports the Store Manager and contributes to the store’s success within a global organisation.
How you’ll make a difference Drive sales and profitability in synergy with your Store Manager Motivate, mentor, and coach sales associates Assist your Store Manager in implementing established retail processes and seek ways to improve them Maintain core retail procedures (inventory, P&L, etc.) Report performance metrics and demonstrate understanding of KPIs to improve store results Ensure the store looks great in line with the brand’s visual merchandising guidelines Provide cover in the store manager’s absence What makes you the perfect Assistant Store Manager You enjoy interacting with customers and lead by example with a hands-on approach, enthusiasm, and commitment to delivering a fantastic customer experience You take initiative when the Store Manager is absent You contribute to creating a great team passionate about delivering outstanding shopping experiences You mentor employees and support their growth while keeping the work environment enjoyable Experience in opening/closing a store, leading a team, and driving sales and productivity Excellent written and verbal English; another language is a plus Proficient with MS Office and various POS systems Flexible for weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Guiding Principles Live with Integrity, Act Courageously, Be Curious, Act with Empathy, and Persevere.
