Senior Sales Manager

Description Key Responsibilities Promote the Sonesta brand to group and meeting decision makers Utilize sales systems (Cvent, MeetingBroker, Delphi.fdc) for RFP management, tracking, and reporting Develop and actively solicit group business within assigned territory Identify, qualify, and follow up on leads to maximize revenue opportunities Lead site visits, conduct outside sales calls, and attend industry events Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and maintain accurate records Maintain a comprehensive account database Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of booked business Participate in meetings, training, and required sales activities Adhere to company policies, procedures, and deadlines Strategy & Planning Analyze market conditions, competition, and account performance to inform strategy Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including new business and partnerships Plan and participate in sales initiatives such as blitzes and targeted outreach Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends and booking processes Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders Financial Management Achieve annual revenue goals and drive year-over-year growth in room nights, ADR, Banquets and total revenue Partner with Revenue Management to evaluate and optimize group opportunities Account & Client Management Manage a portfolio of key accounts and develop new business aligned with hotel goals Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business Understand client needs and tailor solutions to deliver value propositions Represent Sonesta at industry events and within professional associations Accountability & Performance Own individual performance against revenue and activity goals Manage time and priorities effectively Utilize CRM tools to track activity, pipeline, and follow-up Ensure strong return on investment from sales activities and events Leadership & Collaboration Act as the voice of the customer, sharing insights with leadership Collaborate across departments to support business objectives Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions WHO WE ARE We are an organization made up of people, thoughts and ideas – all working towards fulfilling our simple mission: We will achieve our mission by being passionate about exceeding expectations - by being persistent, resilient, and constantly seeking new and creative ways to succeed.
