Analytics Analyst

Security Clearance: CRJMC Incorp Rate: $79.04/hr Overview The ministry is seeking a Senior Predictive Analytics Analyst to support advanced analytics, predictive modeling, reporting, and enterprise data initiatives. The successful candidate will leverage statistical and analytical techniques to generate actionable insights, support data-driven decision-making, and enhance business intelligence capabilities across large-scale government environments. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise with modern analytics tools, data visualization platforms, enterprise data environments, and cloud-based technologies.

Must-Have Qualifications Hands-on experience with analytics and data tools such as Python, SQL, Databricks, and related technologies Strong experience with Power BI and SQL-based reporting solutions Experience working with enterprise data environments and data pipelines Familiarity with Azure or comparable cloud platforms Experience implementing and managing Google Analytics tracking codes and Google Tag Manager Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Responsibilities Develop and support predictive and advanced analytics solutions using statistical and machine learning techniques Perform data analysis using methods such as forecasting, regression analysis, segmentation, classification, and trend analysis Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate analytical findings and business insights Work with large, complex datasets across enterprise environments to support operational and strategic initiatives Design, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and analytical workflows Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and measurement frameworks Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences Support implementation and management of Google Analytics tracking and tag management solutions Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and compliance with enterprise standards Participate in agile delivery teams and contribute to project timelines and deliverables Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts where required Required Skills & Experience 1. Predictive Analytics & Modeling – 25% Strong experience with predictive analytics and statistical modeling techniques Experience with forecasting, segmentation, classification, regression, and trend analysis Hands-on expertise using Python, SQL, Databricks, or similar analytics tools Ability to apply analytical methodologies to solve real-world business problems 2. Data Management & Technical Proficiency – 20% Experience working with large-scale enterprise datasets Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and enterprise data environments Familiarity with Azure cloud services or similar cloud platforms Strong understanding of data integration, cleansing, and quality assurance practices 3.

Insight Generation & Business Impact – 20% Ability to translate analytical findings into meaningful business insights Experience supporting business decisions through data-driven recommendations Experience defining KPIs, performance metrics, and measurement frameworks Strong analytical storytelling and reporting capabilities Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or equivalent tools Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to present complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience tailoring reporting and insights to diverse audiences 5. Collaboration & Delivery – 10% Experience working within cross-functional and agile delivery teams Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in fast-paced environments Proven ability to meet project timelines and deliverables Experience mentoring junior analysts or providing technical guidance Ability to promote analytics best practices and standards Experience contributing to team capability development and knowledge sharing Preferred Qualifications Experience with statistical software such as R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, or similar platforms Knowledge of machine learning concepts and model deployment practices Experience in public sector or enterprise-scale environments Familiarity with Hadoop, MongoDB, or big data ecosystems Experience with advanced analytics techniques including conjoint analysis, factor analysis, time-series analysis, and survival analysis AI-enabled tools may be used to sort applications based on job-related criteria.
