Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for a Junior Consultant in Liver Anesthesia & Critical Care. The Junior Consultant will be responsible for providing anesthesia during liver surgeries, managing preoperative and postoperative patient care, and monitoring critically ill patients in the ICU.
The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols to provide high-quality care. Additionally, the consultant will participate in training programs, case discussions, and other activities that promote professional excellence. Qualifications Expertise in administering anesthesia, perioperative care, and managing critical cases related to liver surgery Strong knowledge of patient monitoring and critical care, including ventilator management and sedation protocols Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Commitment to maintaining precise medical documentation and adhering to clinical guidelines MD/DNB in Anesthesiology or equivalent qualification; MUST HAVE specialized training in liver anesthesia or critical care is an added advantage Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, accurate clinical decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and colleagues
