The Role This backendâleaning engineering role is focused on building and scaling the core systems that power highâvolume transaction processing and internal platform infrastructure.
The team is looking for someone comfortable operating with autonomy, moving quickly through ambiguity, and making pragmatic technical decisions in a fastâgrowing workplace. What You Will Do Design and build scalable backend services that support highâthroughput payment and transaction workflows Develop and iterate on production systems handling large volumes of data and realâtime platform activity Contribute to architecture decisions around scalability, reliability, and system performance Partner closely with engineering peers to ship current platform capabilities and improve core infrastructure Participate in technical hiring by helping source, interview, and assess engineering talent What You Bring 7+ years of experience building and scaling productionâgrade backend systems Strong experience working with large datasets and highâthroughput distributed architectures Proven track record shipping and iterating on complex software products or applications Handsâon experience with Python backend development in production environments Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerized systems, ideally within AWS environments Why This Role This is an opportunity to work on infrastructure operating at significant scale while helping shape the technical direction of a growing fintech platform.
