Job Description

Overview Bombardier Defense designs, builds, and maintains the world's peak‑performing aircraft for governments and militaries. Responsibilities Work closely with Defense Engineering functions (Performance, Systems, Avionics, Structures, Stress, Electrical, Interiors, Methods, Production, Quality, Certification) to produce integrated solutions aligned with customer requirements and to serve as the focal point for defense bids and proposals.

Participate in program and project reviews with senior management to provide visibility to stakeholders. Lead internal, customer, and supplier technical reviews and meetings, ensuring intent is achieved and actions are documented and followed up. Draft Statements of Work and Compliance Matrices that meet technical requirements.

Coordinate engineering resources for bid development, identify risks, and facilitate issue resolution. Develop comprehensive bid packages for defense customers, including technical solution, budget, schedule, and risk information. Review proposals for alignment with technical bids.

Engage and coordinate supplier activities during the bidding phase. Develop, improve, and automate reporting and visibility tools. Support service requests related to missionized aircraft.

Build strong partnerships with engineering and non‑engineering groups. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. Minimum eight years of aerospace and/or technical project management experience.

Strong technical knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems integration. Knowledge of aircraft special‑mission modifications preferred. Knowledge of flight testing is an asset.

Experience in proposal writing is an asset. PMP certification is an asset. Strong leadership, judgment, flexibility, and influence skills.

Results‑oriented and able to meet aggressive deadlines under pressure. Initiative and passion for winning as part of a team. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.

Experience with PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter is an asset. Proficiency in MS Office, including Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. May be required to travel and work extended hours.

Eligibility for ITAR and CGP clearance. Demonstrated integration experience within aerospace and defense is a strong asset.
